A gate needs to fit its opening, move freely and suit the entrance around it. The position of the posts, the direction of opening and the ground beneath it all affect the design.
Our portfolio includes an arched garden gate, a bespoke hardwood gate and timber driveway gates. These show different approaches to shape and scale. Your own gate can be discussed around the appearance you want, the opening available and the way it will be used.
For a replacement, photographs of both sides of the existing gate and its supports are particularly helpful. Let us know whether you are keeping the posts and fittings or would like these considered as part of the work.
